Ben “ I feel so lucky to be chosen, to be part of such an exciting day, wish I could do this every day”

“ As a young Lecturer at Cambridge Regional, being given the opportunity to work along some very talented chefs, for whom I have huge respect . Fills me with passion and desire to promote the next generation of chefs into the catering industry and watch their careers grow.
The whole experience has a positive ripple effect from the farmers, college , top chefs to the customers dinning. “

Thank you so very much to all involved

Firstly, thank you so very much for allowing myself and students to be part of yet another amazing Flying visit.

The students had such an amazing day, they cannot stop talking about it. Seeing their faces throughout the course of the day makes everything worthwhile.
Working with such talented chefs, is mind blowing. Learning new skills and techniques, taking food to the next level. What can I say, (like being on a ride that everybody wants to be part of, and you don’t want to get off.)

Graham W Taylor
QTLS Catering Lecturer/Personal tutor

I was a privilege for the students to have such a fantastic opportunity to work with such skilled chefs. The students who worked front of house came back to college the next day completely inspired by just watching the chefs plating up dishes and having the opportunity to taste all the dishes.

Kind Regards

Jeremy Cooper – Acting CEO Freedom Food

I have just had my first experience of the “Flying Visit” roadshow and it has really taken me by surprise due to the immense “Passion” for the pig demonstrated of the owner of Dingley Dell, Mark Hayward and the innovation, quality and presentation of the food served to us by an incredibly talented group of truly professional chefs.

The evening and food was unique and unparalleled in my culinary experience…… ever!

Our host Mark Poynton; Chef Patron of the Alimentum restaurant, who is not only a fantastic chef but was also a great host for the evening; leaving us wanting for nothing, ably supported by a terrific team of students brought in by Murray Chapman through his “Passion to inspire “ initiative rounded of a great team effort.

I have to say that the evening has actually changed my thinking and mind set about both the pig and the time we take to both prepare and consume the food we eat, an education and change in lifestyle for me forever!

Thank you to all who worked so hard on the night for delivering a truly unforgettable experience for all of us fortunate enough to be there.

Kind regards
