Adrian Doolan – Chef at Jersey Cheshire Home

Adrian is a “local boy” trained at Highlands College before embarking on a further period of training in France before returning to the Grand Hotel where he learnt his trade under the Tutorship of Hans Kleis.
Adrian then embarked on a solo career as the chef proprietor of Doolans at Ouaisne, a very successful beachside restaurant.
Adrian returned to the Grand Hotel, partnership with renowned chef Albert Roux, as Executive Chef, a post he held until early retirement beckoned in 2007; after a year of consultancy and casual work Adrian was persuaded to take control of the kitchen at the Jersey Cheshire Home in February 2009, where he has remained for the past five years.
Adrian is a married man with three children, a keen fisherman, bon viveur and thoroughly “good guy”.
